Working closely with Tesco, Novoda delivered a native suite of Android applications for hudl including its flagship ‘Tesco groceries’ app and ‘Tesco launcher’ - which provide users with access to all of Tesco’s digital services.
The launcher screen is accessed via the “T” button that is permanently displayed at the bottom of hudl’s screen. Pressing the ‘T’ displays all of Tesco’s digital properties including Clubcard TV, banking, Blinkbox movies and music services. The groceries app also presents some other perks to enhance the shopping experience, such as popular recipes, which with one click can be added to a shopping basket - along with the ingredients required to prepare the meals. There are also options to browse favourite brands or to shop by special offers.
In addition to showcasing Tesco’s products and services, hudl supports the same functionality found on other tablets, including access to the Google Play app store.
