US online banking financial services provider uMonitor has partnered information management product platform developer Open Solutions to provide joint online account opening and funding as well as money transfer services to over 20 new US financial institutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, the new institutional customers are set to leverage a service which combines Open Solutions’ online banking, cheque imaging, loan origination applications and core processing platforms with uMonitor’s uOpen & uFund online account opening and funding service and uTransfer, an account-to-account money transfer offering.

Among the financial institutions which have opted for the integrated Open Solutions and uMonitor online services are Harleysville Savings Bank, Canandaigua National Bank and Trust, CDC Federal Credit Union and Meritrust Credit Union.

uMonitor’s online financial services suite includes new account setup and online funding, loan application processing, funds transfers, bill presentment and payment as well as account aggregation and document management. Open Solutions develops an information management product platform which integrates core processing applications with internet banking, cash management, CRM/business intelligence, financial accounting and management tools as well as wealth management, imaging, digital documents, payments and loan origination services.
