PrivatBank to service customers wearing Google Glass

Thursday 18 April 2013 13:06 CET | News

European financial services provider PrivatBank has completed the work on its applications for the Google Glass interface.

This will allow the New Specs to manage their finances and communicate with the bank using their glance, gestures and voice.

The Google Glass and the bank’s applications make it possible to carry out financial transactions, look at a card and view its balance or debit a card, receive the information on funds credited, log in to Privat24, withdraw cash at an ATM, fuel at a gasoline station and make a video call to your personal banker.

PrivatBank has also launched QR code based contactless services for its customers. Using a QR code, PrivatBank’s customers can log in to their online bank account, withdraw cash at ATMs, fuel at gasoline stations, and make and pay for an order in a restaurant’s online menu card. Today, every third customer of the bank uses its online services and mobile applications.

In recent news, PrivatBank has entered an agreement with Western Union to provide customers in Ukraine with a new option for sending and receiving Western Union money transfers from their iPhone devices.
