Sevenval, Wincor Nixdorf enter strategic partnership in mobile banking Monday 29 June 2009 | 08:56 AM CET

German IT services provider for the retail and banking sector Wincor Nixdorf has entered a strategic partnership with German mobile internet and multi channel internet software technology company Sevenval.

Under the terms of the deal, the two companies are set to develop a joint browser-based software which will enable financial institutions to access the mobile banking channel. More specifically, Wincor Nixdorf will expand its PC/E Retail Banking Solution Suite with Sevenval’s multichannel output technology, allowing it to map retail banks’ internet portals and services on mobile terminals and home entertainment systems. The browser-based software PC/E Mobile Banking allows banks to offer financial services such as account information, funds transfers or sales of securities via mobile phones. Additionally, the software allows customers to access internet banking portals on their mobile terminal devices.

Sevenval’s FIT technology automatically adapts online services for use on internet-capable mobile telephones, optimising the navigation, display and content of online banking portals on mobile telephones with the support of a profile database.
