T-Mobile USA launches Direct Carrier Billing service

Mobile network operator T-Mobile USA has announced Direct Carrier Billing, a nationwide purchasing program to provide customers with the option of purchasing digital content and services from their web-enabled mobile devices.

With the newly-launched service, T-Mobile customers can charge online purchases of digital games, social networking credits, music, videos and other digital content offerings directly to their existing T-Mobile account from their web-enabled devices.

The T-Mobile Direct Carrier Billing service will initially utilize billing services provided by several mobile payments services providers, such as BilltoMobile, Boku, OpenMarket, Payfone and Zong.

The service is expected to be available by the end of August 2011.

In recent news, T-Mobile USA has launched a nationwide aggregation service, dubbed More for Me, to offer consumers daily deals, online media outlet mobiletechnews.com reports.
