Monday 23 April 2012 14:54 CET | News

Visa, Atom Technologies, an Indian financial technologies provider and Reliance Securities, the equity broking arm of financial services company Reliance Capital, have teamed up to enable 1 million customers of Reliance Securities to make online money transfers to their broking accounts via Atom’s payment services, using any Visa debit card.

Customers will now be able to log on to the website of Reliance Securities and click on the “pay through Visa debit card” option to make online payments to their broking account. This service requires the trader to register his Visa debit card once on the Reliance Securities website, enabling him to make payments using his Visa debit card.

Atom Technologies provides Indian consumers with payments services over the internet, interactive voice response (IVR) and mobile.

In recent news, Visa has introduced a new global fraud detection tool called Visa Strategy Manager to help financial institutions create and implement strategies to identify and fight fraudulent transactions.
