Visa enters partnership with OSN

Visa has entered a partnership with OSN, a pay-TV network in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The alliance is expected to help boost online transactions and increase online purchase frequency across the region.

As part of the partnership that will run till January 31, 2013, Visa debit and credit cardholders who apply for a new direct subscription for OSN packages will gain access to new features. The offer will be valid across the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA, Oman, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon.

In recent news, Visa has teamed up with a group of five Indian banks to tap into the governments Adhaar national identity system, which uses fingerprint and iris biometric information to verify users and authorise payments.
