Yes Bank, TimesofMoney to release online remittance service Yes Remit

Financial services provider Yes Bank has inked a contract with TimesofMoney, an Indian e-payments service provider, to release its own online remittance solution called Yes Remit, allowing non-resident Indians (NRIs) to send money to any Yes Bank account or other bank accounts in India.

According to the company, the service will be available in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the UK and Eurozone countries. Yes Bank, has also revealed plans to extend this service across various geographies and currencies in a phased manner.

In December 2012, Yes Bank had launched a mobile point of sale (mPOS) solution which allows GPRS enabled mobile devices to act as Point of Sale terminals.

TimesofMoney`s offerings include specialized NRI services, India money transfers, global money transfers, e-payments and co-branded cards.
