Digital River adds seven game publishers to its e-commerce platform Friday 27 August 2010 | 11:11 AM CET

Digital River, a provider of global e-commerce services, has entered a partnership with seven global game publishers to provide the latter with marketing capabilities and administration functions.

Under the terms of the contract, Digital River will enable the game publishers to manage virtual economies and monetize their social games by offering them a suite of services such as virtual goods and currencies, micro-transactions, global payments, billing, analytics and e-marketing.

Bubble Island, Dawn of Nations, MonsterWorld, onGOLF, Pirate Galaxy, Qraut, Vikings of Thule, WebbliWorld are the most recently added game titles to Digital River’s global commerce engine.

Digital River`s platform offers site development and hosting, order management, fraud management, export controls, tax management, physical and digital product fulfilment, multi-lingual customer service, advanced reporting and strategic marketing services.
