Online group vendor Groupon has acquired e-commerce startup Adku.
The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed yet, but the price is expected to be around USD 10 million, according to TechCrunch.
Adku offers a service which can optimise customers’ shopping experiences by providing suggestions on websites such as Zappos, eBay and Amazon. The company has previously secured funding from equity firms Greylock Partners, Battery Ventures, True Ventures and AngelPad.
Most recently, Groupon acquired Mertado, a social shopping platform which uses Facebook as a distribution platform, to sustain its online retail arm Groupon Goods.
