B2B commerce solutions provider Sterling Commerce has unveiled two new mobile applications, dubbed Sterling Integrator Mobile and Sterling Control Center Mobile.

These applications have been developed to broaden control of Sterling Business Integration Suite, the company's solution for B2B integration and managed file transfer, to mobile devices. By delivering these capabilities on the Apple iPhone, Sterling Commerce extends the ability to manage critical B2B processes/interactions beyond the control console or laptop PC.

Sterling Integrator Mobile enables users of Sterling Integrator, the B2B gateway solution, to monitor integration resources to allow content-critical business documents, transactions and events (including purchase orders, acknowledgments, advanced shipping notices and shipment status messages) to be exchanged on schedule.

With Sterling Control Center Mobile, users of Sterling Control Center, a management solution for Sterling Managed File Transfer, gain access to file transfer system status, exception alerts and system controls.
