Callcredit, miiCard to enter strategic alliance Monday 9 January 2012 | 01:29 PM CET

Direct marketing and credit services provider Callcredit has revealed plans to enter a strategic alliance with UK-based digital identity services provider miiCard (My Internet Identity Card) to deliver an identity verification service across the UK.

The joint service combines Callcredit's data based electronic verification services combined with miiCard's anti-impersonation technology and will provide customers with fraud protection and increased conversions capabilities.

In 2010, miiCard has developed an online identity validation service, dubbed the miiCard Digital Passport, which enables consumers to prove their identity in the online environment.

Callcredit provides a range of services for customer acquisition, management, verification, fraud prevention and collections across a variety of sectors.

In recent news, Callcredit has inked an agreement with online fashion retailer Flannels to offer the latter’s its CallValidate identity verification tool.
