Authentication technology provider ValidSoft, a subsidiary of Elephant Talk Communications, has signed an agreement with UK-based Cumberland Building Society to provide the latter with secure transaction services via its VALid application.

Under the terms of the deal, ValidSoft’s VALid service will be implemented into Cumberland Building Society’s transaction service. The application is set to offer two or three- factor authentication as well as to support landline phones, mobile phones and PDAs with communication via real-time voice telephony and/or SMS.
