Google+ introduces face recognition feature Tuesday 13 December 2011 | 02:26 PM CET

Online social network Google+ is launching a face recognition feature, dubbed Find My Face. The new feature will allow members to automatically find themselves in photos posted by friends.

The Find My Face capability is set to be added over the next several days and it is optional. This measure will allow Google+ to prevent privacy issues.

Google+ has gone public on September 2011 and currently has over 40 million users. Google+ is a social networking and identity service operated by Google.
