UK-based online identity verification service miiCard is set to expand its services to South Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand. The announcement will be made today at FinovateEurope.

miiCard has recently entered a partnership with credit solutions provider Callcredit and TRUSTe Web Privacy certification. The Callcredit partnership brings together miiCard’s anti-impersonation technology with Callcredit’s data based electronic verification solutions, to provide protection and convenience for consumers and companies which make their businesses online.

A user-centric service, miiCard provides the primary ID verification that is missing from existing eID&V solutions, and can be used as an online equivalent to the offline driver’s licence or passport checks normally conducted in a range of industries like financial services, e-commerce, dating and gambling. miiCard is powered by Yodlee, the Personal Finance Management (PFM) solution behind 85% of online users of bank and portal websites worldwide.

FinovateEurope is a trade show aimed at financial services industry and designed to showcase the most innovative financial technology products and ideas from established industry leaders.
