Basware sees 7.6% increase in 2009 full year net sales Thursday 28 January 2010 | 10:30 AM CET

Finnish e-procurement and e-invoicing software company Basware has seen a 7.6 percent rise in its 2009 full year net sales, with a turnover of EUR 93 million.

Basware’s operating profit for 2009 was 11.8 million EUR, representing a 36.2 percent year-on-year increase. The company’s net sales grew by 7.6 percent compared to 2008. Basware anticipates that net sales will continue to develop positively in 2010 and operating profit is expected to represent 10 to 15 percent of net sales.

According to its strategy for 2009–2012, Basware aims for growth in all of its markets. US, UK and Germany will continue to have a strategic position, the main focus being on the US market with more weight on the direct operational model.
