Billtrust, Mark Altman & Associates (MA&A) enter strategic merger Wednesday 18 January 2012 | 01:40 PM CET

US-based outsourced billing service provider Billtrust has merged with Mark Altman & Associates (MA&A), a US provider of billing services for municipal, utility and private sector customers.

Under the agreement, current print, e-billing and archiving platforms are set to form a single platform and MA&A customers will become part of Billtrust’s infrastructure. All customers will have access to Billtrust's CustomerCare, a web-based archive and retrieval product that allows clients to manage billing and track processing. Customers will also have access to Billtrust's EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment) platform, which enables bill viewing and payment online and via mobile devices.

In November 2011, Billtrust has reached an agreement with SunGard, a global software and technology services company, to deliver invoice creation and delivery services, automated credit, collections and dispute resolution as well as electronic invoice presentment and payment (EIPP) services to businesses.
