Global business service company Ceridian has entered an agreement to acquire US workforce management services provider Dayforce Corporation. The transaction is expected to close in March 2012.

Ceridian’s new platform dubbed Dayforce|HCM is set to include human resources, payroll, benefits, self-service, time and attendance and scheduling. Clients can access the service via the web and on mobile devices.

Dayforce|HCM includes two-way interfaces with Ceridian’s current HR, payroll and paycard services. This allows Ceridian’s customers to have access to the new Dayforce|HCM modules while continuing to use their existing Ceridian products.
