European payments industry forum the Euro Banking Association (EBA) in collaboration with Dutch financial consultancy company Innopay has published the E-invoicing 2010 - European market guide, an overview of market status, trends and issues in European e-invoicing.

Following the E-invoicing 2008 report, EBA and Innopay have now jointly published the next edition E-invoicing 2010 - European market guide. The main objective of this reference document, which further expands and updates the findings of the 2008 report, is to provide general and specialist readers with a description of the market landscape and recent developments in e-invoicing in Europe. The report focuses on invoicing and e-invoicing in the European Single Market.

Having been a promise for over a decade, Innopay is actively involved in helping e-invoicing finally deliver on its promise. Innopay has been involved in the development of several standards for e-invoicing, not only for EBPP through online banking, but also for other channels such as email and Point-of-Sale (PoS). To aid the dialogue, Innopay has published this freely available European market description and analysis on e-invoicing, in collaboration with the EBA.
