Metals company Boliden selects Ariba for cloud-based services Wednesday 22 February 2012 | 12:43 PM CET

European metals company Boliden has selected US collaborative business commerce and e-invoicing services provider Ariba for its cloud-based services.

Under the agreement, Boliden is set to use Ariba Sourcing to negotiate agreements for direct and indirect materials, Ariba Contract Management and Ariba Supplier Information Management to manage trading relationships.

The Ariba Network is a platform for global commerce between businesses and contains services including applications for spend management, collaborative finance management and sales acceleration management as well as a Web-based trading community and the Ariba Exchange customer community.

In recent news, North American post-secondary education company Corinthian Colleges has selected Ariba for its Procure-to-Pay service.
