Priority Commerce launches ReceivePay Secure Invoicing for Microsoft Word Tuesday 2 February 2010 | 10:44 AM CET

US-based payment-enabled applications developer Priority Commerce has launched ReceivePay Secure Invoicing for Microsoft Word.

The company’s new product allows small business owners to create invoices as well as add an encrypted payment link to invoices created in Microsoft Word 2007, then email the invoice directly to customers for instant payment also from within Microsoft Word.

The ReceivePay Secure Invoicing service is ntegrated into the Microsoft Word Ribbon, making the creation, sending, reconciliation, and management of invoices a part of the Microsoft Office workflow. Using the integrated Word menu, ReceivePay Secure Invoicing sends an encrypted click-and-pay invoice to customers who can then submit payment to the vendor via a secure payment website branded for each business.

Powered by an open commerce platform, the click-and-pay electronic invoice includes a number of payment options for the customer including bankcard and ACH services from multiple processors. Vendors using ReceivePay Secure Invoicing can define payment options for each invoice including permitted tender types, discounts, tax rates, partial payments and payment against outstanding balance.

ReceivePay is a PCI compliant solution and part of the PayItGreen initiative to promote electronic billing, statements, and payments.
