Billing Revolution, Retail Data Systems to enable m-payments, mobile ordering for over 13,000 hospitality merchants Thursday 10 December 2009 | 08:31 AM CET

Retail Data Systems (RDS), a provider of POS hardware and software has entered an agreement with US mobile commerce company Billing Revolution to provide mobile commerce opportunities for Retail Data Systems merchant customers.

Under the terms of the agreement, Retail Data Systems will leverage Billing Revolution’s m-commerce platform to enable mobile transactions for more than 13,000 merchants who rely on RDS for access to POS transaction functionality. The solution delivers management and rendering tools for mobile credit card transactions, including customer purchase receipts, remote ordering and payments, tracking and reporting.

Billing Revolution provides technology to the credit card processing industry that enables secure transactions from a web-enabled mobile phone. Mobile users have the ability to conduct "single-click" credit card transactions, manage subscriptions and perform cancellations from the mobile handset.
