US online mobile payments company Boku has appointed Jon Prideaux, EVP for Visa and Stuart Neal, Managing Director of Payment Acceptance at Barclaycard, as Chief Business Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development, respectively.

Both Prideaux and Neal are set to extend operations and partnerships and capitalize on opportunities in the mobile payments space.

BOKU currently works in 66 countries and with 40 currencies and has deals with more than 250 carriers covering around 3.2 billion consumers.

In recent news, Germany-based telecommunication services provider Deutsche Telekom has selected Boku for the latter’s direct carrier billing service to allow its subscribers in Germany to pay for digital and virtual goods and services using their existing wireless accounts.
