CoVantage Credit Union deploys Tyfone mobile wallet services to its members Tuesday 7 February 2012 | 01:22 PM CET

US financial services company CoVantage Credit Union (CVCU) has partnered with US mobility services provider Tyfone to provide its members with the latter’s mobile wallet services including Symitar Episys core integrated mobile banking, ID authentication mobile security and NFC contactless payment technology.

Under the agreement, Tyfone’s mobile banking solution provides CVCU customers with services including checking balances, account history reviews, fund transfers, branch and ATM location lookup and customizable alerts, all available via mobile applications, mobile websites or text messaging.

Furthermore, Tyfone’s Episys core integrated mobile banking service allows users to see multiple CVCU accounts including personal, business and jointly held accounts in a single mobile banking session.

Moreover, Tyfone’s integration with Online Resource’s (ORCC) bill payment services is set to allow CVCU members to create and manage payees and schedule and edit bills.

The Tyfone mobile banking service is built on the company’s u4ia mobile financial services platform that enables contactless payments using near field communication (NFC) and authentication ID management, providing banks with roadmaps for digital wallet and payment services.

CVCU teamed with US mobility services provider Tyfone in July 2011 for the delivery of the latter’s u4ia platform.
