Alternative payment services provider Cred-Ex, the main brand of Emerging Payments Technologies, has released an application that brings the company's payment processing tools to mobile devices.

Dubbed the Cred-Ex m-Commerce Payment Solution, the service is set to enable merchants and mobile developers to provide payment options to their customers within mobile websites, mobile applications and at point of sale of brick and mortar stores.

Furthermore, the application allows the integration of the Cred-Ex Pay Vault platform, a feature that permits clients to make purchases from their mobile devices using their credit information stored within their Cred-Ex vault accounts.

No additional changes are required for those that have already implemented the Cred-Ex alternative payment application on their websites. The service will automatically detect when customers are shopping from a mobile device and will switch over to the new mobile payment interface.
