Google is allegedly forming plans to share revenue with carriers like US mobile operator Verizon Wireless and US-based mobile operator AT&T in order to enable them to adopt its mobile wallet technology and boost its market share in the mobile payments market, online media outlet reports.

Some of Google’s main competitors for its mobile wallet offering are PayPal, mobile payments start-up Square, US mobile commerce joint venture Isis and to some extent Apple in the mobile payments market.

Google is also set to drive more revenue by enhancing its mobile advertising offering which involves targeting shoppers with coupons and promotions through the use of data, stats and trends obtained from the Google Wallet usage, the source explains.
