UK-based mobile financial services company Mi-Pay has appointed Allan Jakobsen as its new Chief Executive Officer, in a bid to expand its mobile payments business programme.

Jakobsen has held executive positions within a number of telecommunication companies across Europe, including leading Danish operator TDC. He also possesses relevant experience in the payment industry as the former President and CEO of the telecom data and clearing house company Dannet/MACH.

Mi-Pay provides a range of products and services that enable consumers to undertake secure financial transactions from their mobile phones. Based in the UK, Mi-Pay also has offices in Dubai, Romania, India and Pakistan.
