US m-payments and billing services company Billing Revolution has won a contract from Canadian mobile production and distribution company Motek Mobile to add billing and payment capabilities to the latter's application store.

The initiative enables Motek Mobile customers to gain access to a payment method with which they can pay for the purchase of games, applications, ringtones, and other mobile entertainment content directly from their mobile phone. Under the terms of the deal, Billing Revolution will manage the processing and payment of transactions.

Motek Mobile provides wireless network operators, content providers, brands, and traditional media companies with mobile content, including applications, themes, ringtones, wallpapers, animated screensavers and ring back tones for mobile users. Billing Revolution technology enables users to make credit card purchases without a user name or PIN code requirement.
