Mozido launches Genius Wallet mobile wallet platform Wednesday 8 February 2012 | 01:49 PM CET

US-based financial services provider Mozido has launched a global mobile wallet platform dubbed Genius Wallet.

The Genius Wallet is set to enable retailers, financial institutions and mobile operators to provide their customers with mobile services including remittances, mobile phone top-ups and bill payments.

In December 2011, Mozido has expanded its partnership with global money transfer company MoneyGram to include its remittance transfer services for approved Mozido mobile wallet applications. This partnership allows clients to provide sending and receiving remittance services to customers through the Genius Wallet application. The app’s interface allows consumers to make purchases and redeem rewards through their Genius Wallets.

These services will be available to MoneyGram customers who send or receive remittances through an approved Genius Wallet application and to other unbanked customers as they are added.
