US-based technology provider Signature has launched its mobile shopping service for both retailers and in the form of as an iPhone app, online media outlet techcrunch.com reports.
On the one hand, the Signature mobile app is set to provide customers notifications about shopping events as well as information on in-store items, brands and new arrivals. Additionally, the app is set to provide customers with the ability to make appointments and leave messages for sales associates, the same source explains.
On the other hand, sales associates will gain access to iPad apps which allow them to view customer information and product catalogues. Sales associates can see when a customer has entered a store and what items the customer is looking for.
