SkillNet, a multi-channel solutions provider, has launched a “Mobile Commerce” initiative which is set to enable retailers to invest in the mobile experience they are delivering to their customers.
As part of an agreement with mobile web software company Unbound Commerce, SkillNet has developed an offering which leverages the power of the Endeca Information Access Platform. The SkillNet-Unbound Commerce solution uses Endeca’s open APIs and is designed for multi-channel use.
The SkillNet offering will provide mobile real-estate for any retailer’s website. Buyers can now access favorite stores from anywhere, as well as comparison shop while physically in a competitor’s store, while retailers can target mobile customers with customized messages.
