Tanla Solutions, an India-based provider of mobile payment and license management services, has closed a 5-year frame deal with Nokia, covering license management, mobile payments and related services.
Under the terms of the agreement between the two companies, Tanla will also offer Nokia its Mobile Payment service to enable on device transactions.
Tanla’s License Manager product, which has already been integrated with Symbian based devices, features application rights management and payments, enabling in-application billing, try before you buy, subscription and many other business models on the handset.
Tanla enables transactions in 160 countries via Mobile Operator and Credit Card billing. The company’s mobile payment service is used by software vendors, application developers and content providers to enable transactions on the handset.
