Vesta unveils version 5 of m-payment platform Tuesday 9 February 2010 | 09:08 AM CET

Vesta, a US provider of electronic payment services, has introduced version 5.0 of its mobile payment platform which allows wireless operators around the world to increase subscriber ARPU, accept more payment methods and achieve Payment Card Industry compliance via a managed service that integrates new payment services.

With Vesta`s mobile payment platform, operators gain access to a business reporting portal and a token service that provides self-care functions and isolates operators from PCI compliance requirements. Operators can also increase subscriber ARPU via Vesta’s fraud engine. The new version offers mobile subscribers access to the company’s quick code functionality which enables faster payments via multiple channels, wallet functions supporting multiple users and payment devices and the integration of social networking applications where subscribers can send and receive payment-related gifts.
