US-based financial services provider1st Capital Bank has inked a contract with First Data, a US electronic commerce and payment processing company, to power its online banking services.

Under the terms of the partnership, via First Data's online banking service, 1st Capital Bank’s customers will be able to manage their finances using an interface which acts as an online platform. The online banking service powered by First Data will also provide account holders with financial management tools.

First Data provides merchants, financial institutions and their customers with payment by debit or credit card, gift card, check or mobile phone, online or at the checkout counter.

In recent news, First Data has rolled out a new online payment gateway, dubbed the Global Gateway e4, which provides a solution for card-not-present transactions and includes a range of payment services.
