CIBC rolls out m-banking app for the iPhone Wednesday 3 February 2010 | 11:42 AM CET

Canadian financial services provider CIBC has made a Mobile Banking App available for its customers via the Apple App Store.

The app enables clients to check account balances, transfer funds, pay bills and carry out Interac email money transfers via the iPhone or GPS technology. Additionally they can find information on their nearest CIBC branch or ABM.

CIBC’s mobile banking application is also available for the iPod Touch, for which is functional over a wi-fi connection. Once downloaded, users are asked to provide their CIBC debit card or credit card number and online banking password.
