Chilean private bank CorpBanca has teamed up with UK-based banking security firm Cronto to introduce the Cronto Visual Transaction Signing Solution, which will prevent Trojan malware attacks when completing online banking transactions.
Under the terms of the deal, CorpBanca’s customers will now be able to protect their financial transactions via the CrontoSign technology by using the ClaveMóvil CorpBanca mobile application, which allows users to check transaction details.
The CrontoSign has been deployed to CorpBanca by NeoSecure, a Chilean IT security company. The newly introduced device delivers visual transaction signing solution for online banking security.
The CrontoSign technology has also been deployed within the photoTAN online banking pilot project of German financial institution Commerzbank.
