India-based financial services provider ICICI Bank has rolled out a Facebook application, dubbed the “Your Bank Account” application, which allows users to access their account information and mini-statements as well as apply for debit cards and request chequebooks. Users will also receive updates and banking news on their Facebook Wall.

The newly released application has been made available via ICICI’s Facebook page. In addition, ICICI will use the new Facebook page to list offers to customers, provide product details and customer care.

ICICI Bank provides a range of banking products and financial services to corporate and retail customers via its subsidiaries in the areas of investment banking, life and non-life insurance, venture capital and asset management.
