AsiaPay, an electronic payment gateway provider, has teamed up with Philippine m-commerce company Globe GCASH to roll out an online payment service.

Dubbed PesoPay, the service enables internet payments and is aimed at millions of GCASH mobile commerce customers in the Philippines and worldwide who can now shop online and complete their internet transaction from their mobile wallet in their Globe or TM mobile phones.

AsiaPay provides a suite of payment processing capabilities for banks, corporations, SMEs and charities. GCASH is a mobile wallet facility available to Globe and TM subscribers that allows cashless and cardless method of facilitating money remittance, donations, loan settlement, disbursement of salaries or commissions, and payment of bills, products and services, via a text message.
