Earthport adopts International Payments Framework Association standards Wednesday 21 September 2011 | 11:05 AM CET

Global electronic payment services provider Earthport has adopted the International Payments Framework Association (IPFA) standards.

Earthport has adopted the IPFA standards becoause demand from both corporates and consumers puts pressure on cross-border payment providers. The IPFA, a global not-for-profit association, was established in February 2010, to create standards based around ISO20022 to meet the growing demand for a more cost-effective and more certain payment service with a wider reach. In addition to adopting the IPFA standards, Earthport will work to promote the benefits of IPFA participation and membership.

Earthport provides white-label cross border payment services. Through its international platform, Earthport offers global payment capabilities in 200 countries worldwide.
