Earthport to extend cross-border payment service Thursday 20 October 2011 | 01:05 PM CET

Global electronic payment services provider Earthport is set to extend and enhance cross-border payment services using the CashPro Online banking channel from the financial institution Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

CashPro Online will provide Earthport clients with additional reach to local payment networks across Latin America, Asia-Pac and Europe. Earthport has been using this service since August 2011 to clear payments in America for some of its global customers.

In recent news, Earthport has adopted the International Payments Framework Association (IPFA) standards. Earthport has adopted the IPFA standards because demand from both corporates and consumers puts pressure on cross-border payment providers.

Earthport provides white-label cross border payment services. Through its international platform, Earthport offers global payment capabilities in 200 countries worldwide.
