The airline company Frontier Airlines has entered a partnership with US online credit card fraud prevention services provider Accertify to implement the latter’s fraud prevention platform.

As part of the agreement, Frontier Airlines will benefit from Accertify’s online fraud protection platform. Accertify provides e-commerce companies with hosted software services, tools and strategies for preventing online fraud and mitigating enterprise-wide risks. Via its Interceptas, Accertify is set to prevent various types of criminal behaviour, including fraud related to card-not-present purchases, online scams and policy abuse, merchandise returns and exchanges and other data management challenges.

Accertify supports the risk management and manages fraud risks efforts for airlines around the world. Its clients currently include jetBlue, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, AirTran, West Jet and Bangkok Airlines.
