Germany's technology company asknet AG now accepts online payments via the Alipay system.

Alipay enables individuals and businesses to send and receive payments on the internet, using an escrow system that minimizes settlement risk in transactions. The company has over 270 million registered users and a total daily transaction volume exceeding USD 176 million.

asknet provides customers with outsourcing solutions for global software sales via the internet. Its clients include providers of specialty software such as CollabNet, DivX, F-Secure, Nero, Panda Security, Steganos, and NetObjects.
