Hi-media brings micropayment platform to North America Monday 8 February 2010 | 07:00 AM CET

Hi-media Payments, the micropayments division of French Hi-media Group has opened an office in San Francisco to make its Allopass micropayments platform available to the North American customers.

The Allopass payment platform supports nine payment options, including mobile payments, home phone billing and third-party pre-paid card offerings. Artix Entertainment, Boomerang Networks, Gambit, gWallet, Merscom Games, OLX, Peanut Labs, Quepasa, Sometrics, Sonico, TheBroth, Viwawa, Viximo and Wadja are some of the US customers who have implemented the Allopass platform. Allopass currently processes more than eight million transactions per month.

Hi-media Payments collaborates with companies selling virtual goods and other digital content, including developers of social games, MMOs and virtual worlds (for in-game items), social networks, media companies, streaming media, document downloads and dating sites.
