MetLife Alico, a provider of insurance services, annuities and employee benefit programmes, has revealed plans to launch its e-payment service across the Gulf markets.

The service is designed to allow MetLife Alico to upgrade its online service capabilities via its customer portal, namely the myMetLife Alico and to enable expatriate policyholders to pay their premiums from anywhere in the world using a valid international credit or debit card.

The e-payments service was launched in the UAE in November 2011 and it is now available to approximately 130,000 policyholders. The introduction of the e-payment service in the Gulf region is set to be completed by the end of Q1 2012.
