Moneybookers, Failsafe Payments ink online payment agreement Thursday 8 July 2010 | 11:42 AM CET

Failsafe Payments, a billing company based in Europe and North America, has signed an agreement with European online payments services provider Moneybookers. Under the terms of the deal, Moneybookers will join the Certo Payment Gateway’s online e-wallet coverage.

Thus, Moneybookers’ members will gain access to an array of services powered by Certo such as payment functionalities, shopping carts, order systems, fraud detection and loyalty programs. In addition, the latter will be connected to other members of the platform such as financial institutions and payment processors.

Founded in 2001, Moneybookers provides over 60,000 merchants with 80 payment options in over 200 countries. eBay.com, Skype and Thomas Cook are some of its global partners.
