Global provider of online payment services mopay has launched its new payment platform for online dating services to allow users of online dating and matchmaking platforms to purchase single or subscription-based services and have them billed to an available telecommunications account.

Consumers enter their mobile or landline phone number at checkout, confirm the purchase via SMS and become members of the service. The amount of the purchase will then be billed to the consumer’s landline or mobile phone bill.

In December 2011, mopay has extended its product offering via broadband billing allowing online merchants to charge purchases directly to consumers' internet service provider accounts.
