UK-based online payment services provider Optimal Payments has joined forces with Desjardins Card Services, a national provider of merchant payment services, to roll out a customised version of Optimal’s NETBANX gateway services to the latter’s merchants.

The NETBANX payment gateway enables processing of global credit/debit card, online direct debit, Interac Online, and local payment options in 180 different countries. The NETBANX gateway also delivers risk management for merchants through its proprietary risk rules engine and extensive fraud screening tools.

Optimal Payments provides credit-debit card and e-check (Direct Debit) services to retail/point of sale, internet, and mail-order/telephone-order (MOTO) to merchants in Canada, the US, Europe and the Caribbean.
