Oxatis opts for Moneybookers Tuesday 16 February 2010 | 11:17 AM CET

European e-commerce services provider Oxatis has closed a deal with online payments services provider Moneybookers. According to the contract, the latter will provide Oxatis’ merchants with an interface for directly accepting various payment options including credit cards, local debit cards and instant bank transfers.

Oxatis aims to enable merchants to configure both the Moneybookers payment gateway as well as the Moneybookers eWallet without a separate technical integration and via a single interface for all payment methods.

Merchants do not need to be PCI-certified since Moneybookers processes all payment data as a PCI-certified payment provider. Moneybookers' payment network offers businesses access to over 80 payment options in over 200 countries. Oxatis is an e-commerce platform that allows start-ups and SMBs, SoHos, craftsmen, retailers, freelancers and entrepreneurs to create and manage their own e-commerce site.
