PopCap Games selects Adyen`s payment platform Monday 19 July 2010 | 02:12 PM CET

Adyen, a provider of global internet payment and e-commerce solutions, has won a contract from PopCap Games, a US multi-platform provider of casual video games.

Under the terms of the agreement, PopCap Games will utilize Adyen`s payment platform to maximize its international online conversion rates while simplifying the payment process for its customers across the world.

“The Adyen solution provides complete flexibility and transparency in handling our global payment needs” according to Robert J. Chamberlain, Chief Financial Officer, PopCap Games. “Adyen’s portfolio of relevant local payment methods provides our customer base with the greatest variety of options to acquire our games while increasing the average time spent per visitor to our site.”

Adyen’s online payment solution enables merchants to conduct e-commerce transactions with their customers and increase online conversion by optimizing the payment process for consumers. The company`s solution connects companies to domestic and global customers through a growing offering of different market relevant payment methods.

PopCap's games are played on the web, social platforms, desktop computers, myriad mobile devices (cell phones, smartphones, PDAs, Pocket PCs, iPod, iPhone, iPad and more), game consoles (such as Xbox and DS) and in-flight entertainment systems.
