Realex Payments reports 112% increase in transaction value Wednesday 3 February 2010 | 10:22 AM CET

In January 2010, UK payment services provider Realex Payments registered growth figures in the transaction values processed for its UK clients. These values have increased by 112 percent to GBP 300 million.

The overall transactions processed by the company during January were estimated at around GBP 700 million. A contribution to the general increase in volumes can be ascribed to the online charity donations for Haiti. In the weeks after the tragedy, Realex Payments has seen an 1100% expansion in volumes processed by the 125 charities it supports.

Realex Payments provides European payment services for merchants, across a spectrum of industries including airlines, mobile carriers, utilities, insurance and gaming companies.
